Your data will be processed for the purpose of establishing, managing and developing the contractual relations that bind you to Mutualidad as an Insurer, as well as for fraud prevention. Mutualidad will also process your personal data in order to inform you about our activities, services and products. Mutualidad will provide your personal data to public administrations and third parties when there is a legal obligation foreseen in the applicable regulations. It shall also transfer the necessary data to third party collaborators of Mutualidad who, for reasons of reinsurance, coinsurance or due to contract management operations, intervene in the management of risks, policy management or claims; to Professional Associations for the control of professional intrusion and to public entities for statistical purposes in the legally authorised cases. Your data may be transferred internationally; such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with data protection regulations. Your data will be kept for the duration of your contract and once the contract is terminated, they will be kept blocked for the legally required period of time in order to deal with any possible liabilities arising from the processing. When the period expires, it shall be deleted. In the event that, once a contracting request has been made, the contract is not formalised, the data provided will be kept blocked for the legally required period of time in order to attend to possible liabilities arising from the processing. When the period expires, it shall be deleted.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the execution of the insurance contract. In relation to processing for direct marketing purposes by Mutualidad, the legal basis is the legitimate interest in being able to better meet your expectations as a customer and the consent you may have given us. We will also process your personal data in order to comply with legal obligations.
With regard to the personal data referring to other natural persons, which, by reason of the contract, must be communicated to us, you must, prior to their communication, inform them of the points contained in the preceding paragraphs.
You have the right to access your personal data being processed, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, to request its deletion, in addition to exercising the right of opposition, limitation of processing and data portability.
